earthcurrent.com is go
Despite owning the domain since 2003 I'm just now getting something official moved onto the earthcurrent.com domain. Blogspot should automatically redirect you to the new address, so no real need to update bookmarks, RSS feeds, or the like. Big thanks to Chris the Computer Guy at Smarthostplan.com for doing all of the behind-the-scenes tinkering to make the move possible.

very nice, how did you install the blogspot software on your own domain?
ReplyDelete@pixel: if you own a domain you can just go to setting>publishing and looking for the option to Switch to: • Custom Domain and then selecting the Advanced Options link. There you can can type in your domain, and if everything is set up properly (see setup instructions on that page)the blog will automatically redirect your own domain. I had to have my server host tinker with things in order to setup the CNAME and 'A' NAME for me as I didn't have that sort of access, but it didn't take all that long to get done.
